Dr Gabriel Matthew Leung, Executive Director of Charities and Community, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC), together with Head of Charities (Strategy, Planning, Operations and Engagement) Ms Irene Leung and Deputy Executive Manager of Charities (Engagement) Ms Rainbow Wong, visited The Education University of Hong Kong on 2 May 2023 to gain a deeper understanding of the University and its latest development.

President Professor Stephen Cheung Yan-leung welcomed the guests and expressed his gratitude for the ongoing support of HKJC.

The guests visited the Future Classrooms at the Mong Man Wai Library, where they learned how the latest technology can facilitate learning and teaching. They met with two ethnic minority students on the Higher Diploma in Early Childhood Education programme, to understand more about their field experiences.

The delegation also went to the Chinese Culture Room at The Education University of Hong Kong Jockey Club Primary School, where teachers and students introduced how the school promotes Chinese culture and STEAM education.
