Mr Chan Wing-chor, Chairman of the Association of Hong Kong Quanzhou Charity Promotion, together with Executive Vice Chairmen Mr Chan Wah-leung, Mr Cheng Ahpeng and Mr Li Hexie, as well as Vice Chairmen Ms Linda Chan and Mr William Chan, visited the Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) on 6 January 2023 to gain a deeper understanding of the University’s vision and its latest developments.

The delegation visited the Future Classrooms in the Mong Man Wai Library. Professor Maureen Tam Siu-ling, Head of the Elder Academy, introduced the vision and mission of the Elder Academy, as well as the courses and services it offers. Staff from the Alumni Affairs and Development Office also briefed the guests on EdUHK’s latest developments, as well as projects in the areas of National Education, Chinese Culture and Non-local Student Support Services.

During the visit, Mr Chan Wing-chor expressed appreciation of and support for the Elder Academy. Both parties are excited about potential collaboration in the future.
