Highlights of Projects
Project Aspire

Have you ever come across children like them?

They are frank, kind and have a great sense of justice. In face of unfairness, they will always stand up readily for justice regardless of the situation. They are passionate about astronomy and geography. They enjoy tackling complicated problems so that some would say their intellect goes beyond their age. They could go on and on about their favourite subjects such as motor vehicles and animals. They will share with others with such enthusiasm, simply unstoppable.

Perhaps what you didn’t see is their struggle in interpersonal relationships. Owing to difficulties in social interaction and communication, their behavior is often misunderstood. More often than not, they are being punished and scolded by adults, and rejected by peers. Many of them have to grow up as a loner.

Project Aspire provides support to them – children with Asperger Syndrome (now renamed as Autism Spectrum Disorder).

Since its establishment in 2004, Project Aspire has been dedicated to serving school children with Asperger Syndrome and their families. Our services include: social skills training group, counseling, parent consultation, talks and workshops. The service targets range from primary school students, secondary school students to college students. It is our belief that with appropriate social skills training, and increased acceptance and understanding from the public, they can be well integrated into school life and have a joyful childhood.

The operation of Project Aspire has been relying on generous support from donors. Tight resources and high demand in services resulted in very long waiting time for our services. We humbly seek for your support, so that we can further expand our services to benefit more students and families in need.

Please support us immediately and let’s work together for this group of children!
